Welcome To Time with the Mouse...

It all started with Walt Disney's dream to have a place where parents and there children could go together and have fun.  His dream of a magical park for families has turned into a reality, and that reality has become a dream for many families. Each time I have visited Disneyland it has been with my family and each time is still as magical as the first.  There are always new things to discover, old favorites to visit, and the magic of seeing the park now through my sons eyes. So each time we visit a new adventure and magical memories await us.  It is just as Walt wanted "age relives the found memories of the past....and youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future".  I think that Walt wanted us to remember to dream, to go back to that magical time in youth where anything is possible.  That is what Disneyland is to me a magical place where anything is possible and everything is magic.  Hopefully on this site you will find glimpses of that magic and a desire to be a part of it.

  Dinseyland's 50th Anniversary
tink_lamp_thumb.jpgMay 5,2005 Begins the Happiest Homecoming on Earth Celebration for Disneyland's 50th anniversary.  Many special events are planned for the eighteen month celebration including the opening of new rides, new parades, and special events at all the Disney Theme parks.  I wish I could have been there for all the festivities.  Extinct Attractions offers a DVD of the events of the day. Then on July 17th 2005 the biggest celebration in Disneyland history began with golden mouse ears for alls the happiest homecoming on earth brought many dreamers home to their youthful imagination. Extinct Attractions also offers a DVD of the days festivities. Some of the fun golden anniversary touches around the park include the special golden vehicles on the rides that were there on opening day.  The Disney Imagineers had a lot of fun hiding 50, 50th anniversary Mickeys' around the park. I will be doing so work on this section over the next couple of weeks.  Please let me know if you have any pictures of info you want to share.
